I love the Blackbird's evensong! Reminds me of my childhood in the tiny village of Terrington Marsh (Norfolk), listening to the Blackbird singing in the huge privet hedge on a Summer's evening, knowing Mum was about to call me in for bedtime.
it's a bit of a talisman for me - having listened many years ago at a very low point, it always reminds me that life is a journey, and that even when you're down there is beauty to be found.
